Ever Dreamed of Seeing Giant Lobsters and Walking on the Ocean Floor? Read On!
Hey, hey! Get ready for the trip of a lifetime!
We're going on a 7-day bus tour through Atlantic Canada, and you're invited. We'll start and end in Toronto, but trust me, what happens in between will blow your mind. No need to stress about planning; we've got it all covered. Just pack your bags and get ready for an adventure.
Day 1: Toronto to Old Quebec City
Our journey starts early in the morning in Toronto. We'll hop on a comfy bus and head towards Ottawa. First stop? The famous Ottawa Parliament Tours. Imagine seeing where all the big decisions in Canada are made. After snapping some pics, we'll keep going until we reach the beautiful Old Quebec City. This place feels like you've stepped into Europe! We'll stay in a hotel right in the heart of Old Quebec City, so we can explore its charming streets and old buildings.
Day 2: Grand Falls and the Hartland Bridge
On day two, we'll wave goodbye to Quebec City and drive through New Brunswick. Our first major stop is Grand Falls. This waterfall is seriously impressive! Next up is the famous Hartland Bridge, the longest covered bridge in the world. Imagine driving through a wooden tunnel over a river! We'll spend the night in Fredericton, ready for more fun.
Day 3: Peggy's Cove and Halifax Nova Scotia
Today, we're off to Peggys Cove. This little fishing village is like something out of a postcard, with its iconic Peggy's cove lighthouse. We'll have some time to soak in the views before heading to Halifax Nova Scotia. In Halifax, you can explore the Halifax Citadel and wander around the busy harbor. We'll stay overnight in Halifax and get ready for the next part of our adventure.
Day 4: Ferry to PEI and the Confederation Bridge
Get ready for a boat ride! We're taking a ferry from Nova Scotia to PEI (Prince Edward Island). PEI is famous for Anne of Green Gables, and we'll visit the museum dedicated to her. After exploring the island, we'll cross the amazing Confederation Bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world, to get back to New Brunswick. Our night will be spent in Moncton.
Day 5: Magnetic Hill and Hopewell Rocks
Today is full of surprises! We'll start with Magnetic Hill, where it seems like your car rolls uphill by itself. Then, we're off to Shediac to see the Giant Lobster. Yum! But the highlight is Hopewell Rocks, where we'll walk on the ocean floor at low tide and see these massive rock formations. It's like walking on another planet! We'll spend the night near Edmundston.
Day 6: Montreal and Mont-Tremblant
We'll drive through Montreal and see some cool landmarks like Notre Dame Basilica and Old Montreal. Then, we'll head to Mont-Tremblant, a beautiful mountain resort town. Get ready for some stunning scenery!
Day 7: Back to Toronto
On our last day, we'll stop in Kingston for a quick visit and maybe grab some snacks at the Big Apple (if time allows) before arriving back in Toronto.
What an adventure!
Throughout the trip, remember the beautiful walks along Halifax waterfront, with its numerous shops and restaurants, not to forget your visit to Halifax to Peggy's Cove being a great one day outing option.
